We went to see Kung Fu Panda 2 over the Memorial Day weekend and wish I had read this preview prior to going. I thought I'd post this for any of my adoptive parent friends who may want to be a little more prepared than we were. The movie is focused a lot on Kung Fu Panda finding out he was adopted. The following link reviews the movie better than I can, so I will leave the link here. We still had a great family night out, just would have liked a little more preparation for the emotions and topics brought out in the movie.

DITTO!!!!! Who knew?! I doubt Kailahni made any connection, but I sure did. It was interesting....the part that really struck me as intense was when his dad mentioned that he wasn't even left with a note. This wasn't just an adoption story...it was a "China" specific adoption story.
This is what we get for now longer checking Rumor Queen 5 times a day. I'm sure there's a discussion on there about this!

thanks for the heads up, good to know. It'll be a few more years before G will be able to watch it but still good to know ahead of time.
