Praying for Good News

Well, it has been pretty quiet from our agency lately. The question as to whether the H1N1 flu will slow our travel approval (TA) is still to be decided. Our agency did report that so far things are running as usual unless the CCA*A (China adoptin agency) or CD*C stops travel. They also sent an email today letting us know we now have to fill out a "申报表 Declaration Form" to attach to our Visa application. This form asks us to report what US states and other countries we have visited recently. It is believed this form is in response to the flu outbreak and surveillance of who enters China.

I'm missing Lauren so much and just want to hold her tonight. I've contemplated leaving early and camping out in front of her orphanage, but I know this isn't realistic. :)

I'm also praying Mary gets her referral very soon! I want to see her daughter's beautiful little face!

I'll keep you posted!

The rumors this morning are that NSN TA's are in the air.... so hopefully this is good news for you guys. People in the UK who have an LID of 3/7/06 were confirmed as having a TA in the next batch.... hopefully it is all ACCURATE!!!

Looks like matching is still going on. Crazy. The only thing I can hope is that they might get further into March. Poor Mary... this is just the never ending ride for her right now!!! I too can't wait to see her daughter's face. :)

I bet you are just aching to hold Lauren. I don't blame you for wanting to hop a flight to China...these next few weeks are going to be tough ones for you Mardi. If we could just that TA to arrive it would at least feel like you are moving forward again. These quieter weeks make it hard.

Aren't you glad you and Dan didn't decide to got to Rocky Point or something for Spring Break. Could you imagine filling out that form and having to report that you had been to Mexico??!! YIKES!!

Can't wait to see you this weekend! I'm so sorry I won't have a referral photo to share with you.... Oh well, when it does come we'll just have another reason to get together! :)

Thanks everyone for thinking of me!!

Just thought I'd check in with you today. I guess I'm just hoping and praying that you will hear something soon... Love you to my friend.

By the way. There will be something arriving in the mail for miss Lauren, but I don't think it will make it in time for your shower.... :)

Is that kitty really praying or is it taking a lesson from Steph's Yerba Buena Bird?

I do pray that youf TA comes soon! Camping in front of her orphanage is a great idea. I can tell Lauren is ready to get out of there. She has places to go, people to see and mom and dad to hang out with.

Poor Mary, she is on the back seat of this roller coaster.

We were slightly delayed when SARS erupted! Ugh! Our travel group consisted of 17 families since several of them had to wait through SARS. They even stopped matches for a month or so. That was heart wrenching! Thankfully, it didn't slow things too much for us.
