Dan and I went to see "UP" yesterday. We went looking for laughs and a good time. We did laugh and had a great time, but something surprising happened during the movie. As we sat arm in arm, my head on his shoulder, together with our 3D glass on,tears were streaming down our cheeks! It was such an endearing movie! It has a lot of great life lessons and it renewed our gratefulness for our present state. The Now. What a wonderful life God has given us. Our marriage, our joy-filled pup, our beautiful daughter with her red shoes, our families...life is just so good! I have been tempted recently to be angry at my current situation with our wait seeming endless, but this movie reminded me that everyday counts and is a blessing.
If you haven't seen this movie, grab a kleenex box, your 3D glasses and go have a wonderful time!! I give it 4 Stars! :)

Hi friend!
I have never heard of this movie, but I'll check it out! Sounds pretty amazing! :)
I've really been wanting to see this movie, hopefully after all the graduation excitement Jacob and I will get out to see it. The little girls I watch loved it and told me to bring some tissue too. Lots of hugs Mardi.
Thanks for the movie tip and review and I appreciate your outlook.
I think about your family often.
This is no longer a single roller coaster ride for you but rather a tour of coasters rides.
Psalm 19:28. I am claiming that for you today. I read it in my Bible Reading for today...and it moved me. While I believe it was a word for me and Wade right now (Benjamin is having surgery this summer...) after reading your post, I believe God may have it for you too! I'm here if you need me. Love.

Hello,
I don't know you, but your blog caught my attention because I also have a daughter, named Lauren, who was adopted from China. Our Lauren came home almost 5 years ago and today is a soccer-playing, giggling, smiling, intelligent, wonderful almost-kindergartener who has really stolen our hearts. It seems that you are in the middle of some uncertainty as to when you will travel... I'll say a prayer every time I think of you today. I'll pray that you will get to your daughter soon and that she will bless you as much as our Lauren has blessed us.
Peace,
Wendy
This is on our list of things to do with the boys in the next week or so. I can't wait to see it!
